My wife and I were attending our friend's wedding and decided to do something different from the more known brand of hotels around this area. I was really surprised at how convinient mpeta was, considering I was paying about $80 for a night in a one bedroom apartment-style room with a fully equiped kitchen and a bed you would find in any other hotel. I would compare this to a suite( although less luxurious) that one would pay for in this part of the country for about $200 and probably get less personalised service. Being a travel agent I value easy check in and easy check outs and that they did brilliantly and seeing as i had contacted them via phone, they would call me and check on my progress on the road to ensure my safe arrival.. They can iron your clothes for you as well as clean your shoes which is brilliant for someone like me who packs light (and even better for those who dont). In addition they offer car cleaning service for free!!! And especially with the rainy weather in this part of the country...our car needed a bit of a wash after the wedding. All in all, this is a great place to stay , staff are friendly and helpful and i only have good and kind words for the guest house. Keep it up.
Now getting a face lift, sadly it is a newish hotel but looks a lot older. Need some TLC and the small details are missing. Food is very hit or miss sadly
Mpeta is such a nice place they offer great packages and awesome rooms value for money indeed.
